A few months ago, I picked up a pair of ankle boots that instantly became my favorites. They are a grayish suede and pretty much go with everything. Now, I say that because my wardrobe primarily consists of black, gray, and white shirts that are usually paired with blue and black skinny jeans.
Yes, I’m not into bright colors. Instead, I opt for neutral tones for my everyday look.
So, when I introduced ankle boots into my shoe repertoire, I wanted to find simple, cute ways to wear ankle boots with skinny jeans.
Ways to Wear Skinny Jeans With Ankle Boots
Here are a few ways to wear skinny jeans with ankle boots:
Roll the bottom of your pant leg a few times to make your look casual. Leave about an inch between your rolled pant leg and your ankle boot.
Tuck your skinny jeans into your ankle boots. If your skinny jeans are tight around the ankles, you can go this route and create a long, lean line. Try to avoid this look if your skinny jeans are a bit loose around the ankles.
Do you have black jeans and black ankle boots? Pair them together. This will help create one long, sleek look.
Instead of rolling (which ends up in multiple rolls at the bottom of the pant leg), make one big roll which ends up as a cuff. This look will create a crisp look that will help show off your ankle. If you have longer legs, a bigger cuff will work for you. If yo have shorter legs (I definitely fall into this category), then a small cuff is the way to go.
