{Tips & Tricks} Fourth of July Recipe Roundup

Whether you are firing up your grill, heading to the beach, spending time on your boat, hitting some golf balls or kicking up your feet to relax, one thing is certain…It’s Friday which means it’s officially the start of the long-awaited, joyously-celebrated Fourth of July weekend!

With the help of my foodie friends, I was able to come up with a great list of dishes and beverages to serve this Fourth of July. I haven’t decided what I’ll be serving on the Fourth of July…there are so many delicious options!

If you’re having family and friends over for the Fourth of July, be sure to peruse these options before creating your grocery shopping list. There are so many great dishes listed that will keep your guests coming back for more!

  • Fruit Salsa from my friend Jill
    1. Two kiwis (peeled and diced), 6 ounces raspberries (diced), 1 lb strawberries (hulled and diced), 2 Gold Delicious apples (peeled, cored and diced), Juice of 1 small orange, 1 teaspoon orange zest, 2 tablespoons white sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 3 tablespoons fruit preserves (any flavor)
    2. Clean and chop all fruit. Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and chill for at least one hour before serving. Serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips.
