Growing up, my parents always made sure that my brother and I had full tummies every morning in order to start our days off on the right foot. To this day, when I spend the night at my parent’s house, I love enjoying a bowl of cereal topped with fruit. My Mom always has breakfast pastries on the counter from which we sneak slices and pieces.
One of my favorite breakfast pastries are muffins … of all flavors, shapes, and sizes. When it comes to blueberries, the possibilities are endless. Here are a few of my favorite muffin recipes.
Who doesn’t love to pair bananas with chocolate? By switching milk chocolate for white chocolate, these muffins (pictured above) have the perfect amount of sweetness to put a smile on your face.
Pumpkin, cream cheese, and streusel topping … what’s not to love? These muffins (pictured above) are full of comfy, cozy flavors that go perfectly with a morning cup of coffee or tea.
One of my favorite flavor combinations is apple with cinnamon. This muffin recipe (pictured above) will remind your taste buds of warm apple pie … in muffin form … aka yum.
Can you tell that I love adding pumpkin into muffin recipes? Pairing pumpkin with Nutella is a great way to get a savory and sweet mix in one cute, tasty muffin.
And then you have the classic blueberry muffin … with a twist. Combining fresh blueberries with lemon and ginger give these muffins (pictured above) a unique flavor that are a great addition to any breakfast spread.
What’s your favorite kind of muffin?
