What kind of cooking do I love most? The kind of cooking that involves me in the kitchen and my husband manning the grill. Whenever we eat dinner together, this happens almost every night. Cooking the sides while he works his magic on the grill results in dishes that we thoroughly and completely enjoy.
Rain or shine, snow or sun, in our house, we don’t have a “grilling season” since every day is perfect for grilling. Here are a few of our favorite grilling recipes that I know your family will enjoy just as much as we do.
We seriously eat this dish once a week … yes, it’s that good. Potatoes pierogies mixed with grilled kielbasa, grilled onions, and homemade mustard vinaigrette? You can’t go wrong with this dish (pictured above).
This dish (pictured above) is bursting with flavor. At first bite, your mouth will be filled with all sorts of spices and grilled flavors. In other words, it’s the perfect dish to enjoy on a warm summer day.
In the mood for something light? Grill bread slices and top with your favorite meats, cheeses, and vegetables. This crostini recipe (pictured above) is great to enjoy as an appetizer or lunch.
Grilled meat? Check. Al dente pasta? Check. Flavorful herbs and spices? Check. This simple pasta dish (pictured above) literally takes only a few minutes to prepare. It’s a great dish to serve on a weeknight since it’s simple and delicious.
I couldn’t create a summer grilling list and not include a burger. In our house, we often trade in ground beef for ground turkey. Ground turkey is a healthy, flavorful option to use in recipes. Pairing turkey burgers with bacon, dill, mayo, mushrooms, and onions make this dish (pictured above) a great one to serve during your next summer get together.
