A selection of small cafes serve daily meals that range from soul food to gourmet Italian cuisine to one of the best burgers in the city. Trust me, if you ever visit Atlanta and you love burgers, you must stop by the Grind House in the market and order the Cowboy-style burger with onion rings. You won’t be disappointed. I mean, just look at that bacon. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
The Sweet Auburn Curb Market brings a mix of fresh and local to downtown Atlanta and has such a wide array of offerings that are sure to please any palate.
After a fun-filled day at the market, it was back to business…and by business, I mean laughing, sharing stories, offering supportive advice, enjoying each other’s company, and pinching ourselves as we all realized how great the weekend truly was. And, as the weekend was coming to a close, we danced the night away, enjoyed cocktails, and parted ways with hugs.
Thank you so much to the organizers and sponsors of BlogHer Food for putting on such an eventful and worthwhile conference. I’m so thankful that I had an opportunity to reconnect with foodie friends as well as meet so many new friends. I cannot wait until our paths cross in the future.
It was a great conference, wasn't it? And it was a pleasure to meet you and share a shuttle ride to the airport for our respective flights home. I hope that we will meet up again at another conference sometime!
Weren't those burgers and onion rings the best? It was nice to finally meet you!
Wish I could have been there. Those onion rings look amazing! Thanks for sharing :-)
It sounds like you had a fabulous time! I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous, hehe. Wish I could have been there too!!
It was an awesome conference indeed! And hangin with u made it extra special.
Glad you had a fun time! Can't wait to meet you at evo!
It sounds as though you had a wonderful time, Jen! I hope to meet you sometime (perhaps at EVO).
Such a fun weekend in Atlanta, so great to finally meet you in person!
It was a great weekend. Sorry our paths didn't cross. Loved the Market! And sampling all the sponsors wares (lugging all that stuff back to Maui was a pain but I'll take it!).
I was happy to pick up some helpful information at each session I attended which I hope to incorporate into my blogging.
Cheers!
Sheesh, did we even meet and chat much? It's all a blur. I had a great time too :)
