Rainy Day Must-Haves

Instead of snow, we’re getting a lot of rainy, overcast days in Maryland. The temperature has been unseasonably warm and the ground has been pretty mushy. The sun made an appearance earlier today which was really nice. But, now we’re back to gray and white clouds.

I would love to see just a bit of snow during the wintertime … as they say, you can take the girl out of Michigan but you can’t take Michigan out of the girl. I was raised in a state where the temperature was chilly during the wintertime. Ever since we moved to the D.C./Maryland area, we’ve experienced cold winters and warm winters.

This year, we’re definitely experiencing a warm winter. Although I would like to see some snow, it’s also been nice not having to get too bundled up to go outside or run errands.
