Breakfast Sausage Sandwich

From scrambled eggs to breakfast sandwiches, coffee to Bloody Marys, there’s just something about brunch that exudes warmth, comfort, friendships, and springtime. As soon as the temperature rises and the sun starts shining, my husband and I grow instantly eager to enjoy a filling and comforting brunch on a weekend morning. When Farmer’s Garden by Vlasic asked me to create a brunch-inspired menu using their products, I jumped all over the chance to get the creative juices flowing and the shutter button clicking.

To most, a brunch is not complete without breakfast sausage. In fact, I’ve noticed over the years that if a dish doesn’t come with sausage, my husband will (more often than not) order a side of breakfast sausage to accompany his main dish. Knowing the importance of breakfast sausage, I created a Breakfast Sausage Sandwich recipe (pictured above). For the recipe, be sure to follow this link.

The best part about this sandwich is the pickle, of course. As you probably learned in my last post, I’m kind quite pickle-obsessed so I just had to add a pickle chip to this brunch menu item. The next time you’re at the store and you’re shopping for brunch menu ingredients, be sure to pick up a jar of the Vlasic Farmer’s Garden products. The products are made with only fresh, locally grown cucumbers and authentic ingredients … all of which emphasize that the simple things in life bring us the greatest pleasure.

Celebrating the authentic taste of #FarmToJar, Farmer’s Garden by Vlasic wants everyone to experience the delicious fresh taste of honest ingredients, as well as hand-picked herbs and spices that make up the perfect premium pickle. I couldn’t agree more. With only a few simple ingredients and steps, you’ll have a flavorful brunch recipe that will please all of your guests … especially the guests who love pickles.
