My husband and I are counting down the days until we are floating around in a pool in Mexico, sipping cocktails, and spending time with our friends. The idea of sand between my toes, a beachy cocktail in my hand, a plethora of palm trees, and quality time with my husband has me so excited. We haven’t been on a vacation in five years and trust me when I say that we are in need of a vacation.
I’ve been trying to think of some cute must-have beach vacation items that I need to pack in my suitcase … and then it dawned on me. I need a hat! Yes, this Irish skin in the Mexican sun can equal all sorts of yikes and ouches. I would love to pack a floppy hat in my suitcase just in case I need a cute way to hide from the sun for a bit.
